Make a ribbon wand with creative living expert Lynn Lilly! This DIY activity is a great way for the kids to kick back after a full day of e-Learning activities. It’s also a great way for them to develop their fine motor skills.
The use of color allows kids to connect visual elements to concepts they’re learning about in school. Plus, they’re tons of fun to play with!
What can you do with a ribbon wand? We love to skip and swing our ribbon wand in the air. We love to watch the beautiful colors swirl around and imagine that we’re painting a rainbow. You can even create your own routine and perform it for your family. The possibilities are endless!
Check out the steps below to get started.
Supplies:
- Ribbons
- Wooden Dowel

Step 1: Glue ribbons to the top of the wooden dowel, so that they loosely hang down.
