10 Ways to Maximize Your Stay at Great Wolf Lodge

Welcome to Great Wolf Lodge! We’re so happy you decided to visit. To show our appreciation, we’ve provided ten important tips to help make your stay as convenient and cost-effective as possible. Check out the information below to make the most out of your vacation.

1.  Only Bring the Pack Essentials

Suitcases can only fit so much! Save room for the important stuff; we can cover the rest. All of our lodges have towels and flotation devices available onsite, so you don’t have to worry about packing those items for the water park.

If there is something you feel you’re missing, you can always visit our Buckhorn Exchange Gift Shop. There, you’ll find lodge-themed clothing and accessories, jewelry, totes, books, kitchenware, frames, and toys. 

2. Make Sure to Bring a Pool Bag

A stay at Great Wolf Lodge likely means spending time in our award-winning water park! Bring a pool bag for all the essentials. That way, you can pack the night before and get started on the fun without delay! 

3. Don’t Forget Your Wolf Ears

Don’t forget to collect your wolf ears! These complimentary accessories are available at check-in. The kids will look right at home trotting around the lodge in their themed headbands. Be sure to get your camera ready! 

4. Enjoy Breakfast at the Lodge

Start the day off right with a hearty breakfast at the lodge! Save time by dining onsite and enjoy the opportunity to spend some additional time with the family. Purchase one of our meal plans before your stay for additional savings. 

5. Get Your Paw Passes

You can also purchase a paw pass to save on some of our top attractions and treats. The bundle includes access to our MagiQuest game, Candy Shop, arcade, mini-golf, mining experience, and more. Make sure to reserve one for each member of your pack! 

6. Enjoy a Room Upgrade 

Make your stay even more magical with a room upgrade. You and your pack can enjoy some additional space in one of our Northwoods-themed suites, kids-themed suites, or spacious premium suites.

7. Soak Up the Waterpark

Splash around with the whole family in our award-winning water park. We keep things at a comfortable 84-degrees so that you can enjoy our rides, slides, and attractions all year long. Access begins at 1 P.M. on the day you check in. Don’t forget, a late checkout gives you even more time to enjoy the park! 

8. Create a Homebase 

Set up camp at the water park. That way, different members of the pack can enjoy different activities and check back in throughout the day. Consider renting a cabana for a place to rest, retreat, and rehydrate. Each station provides private seating, towels to use in the waterpark, plus other exclusive amenities.

9. Don’t Forget About the Dry Land Attractions

We may be known for our indoor water park, but there are plenty of dry-land activities to enjoy at the lodge! Consider purchasing a Paw Pass before your stay to save on some of our attractions. 

 The kids are sure to go crazy over MagiQuest, our live-action role-play game. You and the family can also enjoy miniature golf, arcade games, and more. Don’t forget to check out some of our complimentary activities, either. Storytime, yoga, and late-night dance parties are all included in your stay!
