What you’ll need:
- Carton of hard-boiled eggs
- Colored tissue paper
- Colored felt paper
- Googly eyes
- Glue
- Feathers
Instructions:
Wrap eggs in different colors of tissue paper, using the glue to mold to the egg. Once the glue has dried and the tissue paper has hardened onto the egg, attach googly eyes, a felt nose, and feathers of your choice with glue. Let dry for 20 minutes.
Classic Colorful Eggs
Dyeing eggs in a variety of colors to make fun patterns is a classic way of decorating eggs in the springtime!
What you’ll need:
- Carton of hard-boiled eggs
- Food coloring or egg dye
- Vinegar
Instructions:
Mix 1/2 cup boiling water, 1 teaspoon vinegar and 10 to 20 drops food color in a cup to achieve desired colors. Repeat for each color. Dip each hard-boiled egg in dye for about 5 minutes. Use a spoon, wire egg holder or tongs to add and remove eggs from dye. For fun patterns, dip only one part of the egg into a color, let it dry, and then repeat with another color!
Funny Faces
For a super quick egg decorating idea, draw some funny faces on the hard-boiled eggs. These will surely have the whole family laughing!
